Established Zeus systems @ Residence
- Formed Zeus Controls Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai by Prafull Jhalani, focusing on process control equipment.
- Bought 1st co working space in Hindustan Ind. Estate, used to make Temp. Controllers, Timers, counters and control panels.
Devanshi Electronics Pvt. Ltd. (DEPL) was established in Andheri (East), Mumbai.
A third company, Bajrang Thermit Systems Pvt. Ltd., was formed in Vadodara but later closed due to partnership disputes and financial strain.
DEPL enters the PID controller market, starts importing from Vertex (Taiwan) and modifies them for Indian conditions.
Started assembling PID controllers from SKD kits in India to reduce costs and remain competitive.
- Collaborated with ARICO, Taiwan to launch PC-based control systems for injection moulding and extrusion machines.
- DEPL also entered pharma, chemical, and rubber sectors.
- Faced high attrition, experimented with hiring fresh MBAs (later discontinued).
- Added Variable Speed AC Drives and PLCs to product portfolio.
- Began importing hardware for automation from abroad and writing custom software in-house.
- Started retrofitting
- Added HMI in product portfolio
- Achieved ISO 9001 certification.
- Founded a new proprietary firm in Daman to serve key customers locally and benefit from tax holidays.
- Added various temperature and humdidty sensors in product portfolio
ISO 9001 certification was upgraded to new version.
- Sales of PC-based systems equaled PID sales.
- Gained traction in retrofitting old machines, enhancing speed and accuracy for plastic manufacturers.
- Focused on AC drives market, planning aggressive expansion in 2005–06.
